My Project
I am excited to introduce our project, which aims to provide our students with the book "You Can Fly: The Tuskegee Airmen" to use as an anchor text for an upcoming unit on poetry.
"You Can Fly: The Tuskegee Airmen" is a captivating book that tells the inspiring story of the first African American pilots in the United States military during World War II.
This book will serve as the anchor text for our unit on poetry, as we explore themes of courage, perseverance, and heroism through verse.
By providing each student with a copy of "You Can Fly: The Tuskegee Airmen," we hope to not only engage them in the history of the Tuskegee Airmen but also inspire them to express themselves through poetry. We plan to use the book as a model for various poetic forms and techniques, encouraging students to write their own poems.
Your support is crucial in helping us make this unit a success. Your donation will not only provide students with access to the anchor text but will also help us create a more enriching and impactful learning experience for all students involved.
Thank you for considering our project. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on our students and their appreciation for poetry and history.
