Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are English language learners who come from all kinds of backgrounds, cultures, and education systems. Some of my students are newcomers who do not yet know their alphabet as they were schooled in another country teaching a different alphabet. However, my students are hard workers and have strong work ethics. They always try their best and I want to give them the best for them to succeed.

These language and literacy-building materials will help me plan games and activities that will engage the students and bring about greater growth.

I plan on using the letters and the miniatures for I Spy games and sensory bins. This will give the students tangible objects to connect to language.
