My Project

My Kindergarten and 1st grade students are eager to learn, curious about the world, and developing their English language skills every day. Many of my students are English language learners who benefit from repeated exposure to vocabulary, visuals, and meaningful conversations. They come to school ready to grow, but they need engaging, accessible materials that support both language and literacy development.

My students need high-quality, engaging reading materials that support language development through visuals, repetition, and real-world connections.

Scholastic magazines and Time Magazines are designed specifically for early learners. These magazines combine bright visuals, simple text, and interactive features that help students build vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence. Each issue introduces students to new topics about the world around them, helping them make connections while developing their reading and speaking skills.

For English language learners, these magazines are especially powerful. They provide repeated exposure to key vocabulary, opportunities for partner talk, and access to audio versions that support listening and pronunciation. My students will use these magazines during small group instruction and independent exploration.

These magazines will help turn my classroom into a print-rich, language-filled environment where all students can participate and succeed.
