My Project

Kindergarteners start the year with a vast difference in language, life experiences and social skills. Through dramatic play, children can learn new vocabulary and the social skills necessary in different settings and situations.

Young children learn best through play.

A dramatic play center will allow my students the ability to play with their peers in an unstructured environment. These play food sets would allow for Apple Orchard, Coffee Shop and Baking themed dramatic play centers. These themes will bring real world situations into our classroom allowing my children to learn new vocabulary and strengthen their social skills and understanding.
