My Project

The items I am requesting will be used in our classroom daily. They will be used in multiple ways, providing opportunities for students to explore through morning bins and during center rotations. The lettersandbox and magnetic writing boards will help reinforce correct letter formation for all students and can be used in either a whole-group or small-group setting. The letter matching activities and magnetic blocks will be used as morning bin activities for students to practice letter knowledge skills and to broaden their imagination to build things.

New concepts tend to 'stick' better when presented differently and practiced repeatedly

Students enter Kindergarten at different levels and with varying school experiences and exposure. Therefore, it is essential for me, as their teacher, to have high-quality materials to meet all my students where they are. Having materials that can 'grow' with students is helpful because they can be used to support a student's needs, allow students to practice a new concept skill, or even challenge them, depending on how you present the material.
