Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my bilingual third-grade classroom, I strive to spark creativity, critical thinking, and motivation through engaging and meaningful activities.

That’s why I’m requesting LEGO educational kits to give my students the opportunity to collaborate, build, and problem-solve, while reinforcing vocabulary and academic concepts in both English and Spanish.

I'm also introducing a reward system using “book points”—a fun way for students to earn small incentives for their reading progress, positive behavior, and academic effort. These rewards help promote a supportive and motivating classroom culture.

These materials will not only enhance hands-on learning and teamwork but also inspire joy and excitement for learning in both languages.
