My Project
COVID -19 has disconnected our students socially and academically. The resources, like the grill cooker, rice cooker, and deep fryer, will encourage students to build transferable skills such as teamwork, customer service, communication, and leadership. Students will experience hands-on activities, like planning and running a snack shop giving them hospitality industry experience and getting them excited to interact with their community again. These items will also build stronger relationships in the classroom, leading the way for a positive environment to learn and focus on preparing them to be job ready.
