My students need scooters. After looking at the P.E. materials, I have noticed that many of the scooters need to be replaced and unfortunately we also do not have enough for every student.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a Physical Education teacher in an amazing school that focuses on a STEM based curriculum in a public school setting in a small southern Arizona town very close to the border. Parents and students are committed to learning and going above and beyond their learning.

Students enjoy their time in P.E.

and look forward to their time in the gym. I believe that exercise and nutrition is an important factor to teach at a very young age to establish good lifetime habits.

My Project

I am a true believer that kids need to be active and have fun. The materials being requested will help these students achieve our overall goal in P.E.

Students need scooters for different fun activities that they children will enjoy.

Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have a class set of scooters and students have to sit out while we have to take turns.

Students will be very appreciative if and when we can get enough materials for all of them to use all at once. They will be great when we can go outside and enjoy the nice weather while they play on their scooters.
