Building Future Scientists

Help me give my students a great start to their first year of middle school. Our focus is based on modeling and various hands-on projects that require a lot of materials the school can not supply.

My Project

Students will use the Animal and Plant Cells Microscope Slide Set and the whiteboards to draw their prototypes before constructing models of cells, geographic locations and biomes. They will research, design and build models of both plant and animal cells, body systems, weather fronts and biomes from all over the world. Hands-on research and practical application of concepts can help students develop important skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. These are skills that transcend fields, and they are essential for navigating higher education and the workforce.

Basic materials such as markers, crayons, tape, etc.

are not provided for the teachers. Once paper, rulers and other necessary daily items are ordered, there rarely any money available to art/project supplies.
