This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students love to build and be creative with STEM resources. I love to share new and engaging activities with them. We use our STEM bins every morning and afternoon. It is so fun to watch them be creative and work together to build something or achieve a task. Hearing them work together helps to build community within our classroom. These resources help with problem-solving skills, fine motor and being creative. These resources consist of blocks, a garden-building kit, and dominoes to practice math. They allow students to practice space awareness and fine motor skills as well. I love to change out our STEM bins as often as I can to keep my kindergarten students excited.
