My Project

I am a middle school teacher transferring to the elementary next school year! Basically, I am starting over. With 25 years of experience, I am used to providing my students with an appealing classroom that encourages and promotes learning. I want nothing less for my soon-to-be second graders! Therefore, I have strategically chosen visual learning materials to help my students learn and learn well.

An inviting classroom that engages students, reinforces learning, and increases retention of information is crucial for my second graders.

The materials I have selected will give my students a literacy and mathematics-rich classroom and help me establish, explain, and connect concepts. Students need strong educational foundations. These visual materials are appealing to the eye and assist students as they learn important content needed to build and strengthen their educational foundation as well as ensure future successes. These visuals will be displayed in the classroom, discussed, and will serve as visual reminders throughout the year. My future second graders are important, special, and valued. My goal is to help them build a strong educational foundation. These materials will aid in doing just that. After all, they are the future, and giving them the best educational foundation is a must!
