My Project

Using wooden birdhouse kits can be a fantastic activity for special needs students, providing them with a hands-on learning experience while also fostering creativity, fine motor skills, and a sense of accomplishment. There are sensory benefits through the textures and colors as well as visual benefits with picture directions and the bird watching.

Birdhouse kits are a multidisciplinary lesson hitting ideas such as birdwatching outings or researching local bird species to further enrich the learning experience.

By providing my students with a variety of decorating materials such as stickers, paint, markers, and glue I can accommodate different artistic styles and abilities. Thank you for supporting my project.
