My Students
My students are at the beginning stages of learning. They are working on learning their names, days of the week, how to properly hold a pencil, and have good penmanship. They are learning their ABCs and numbers as well. They are at that age of truly being a sponge to teachers' lesson plans. The instruction you give is so important at the beginning stages of education. My students are all excited to grow as scholars. They like listening to stories, watching YouTube videos about the days of the week, months of the year, and the weather outside.
What's great about my students they defy the odds every day!
My Project
These materials will greatly help them with their fine and gross motor skills. Improved learning starts with how to write, count objects, match real-world images to text, tactile ways of counting, and countless other methods. All of these different ways of learning teach fine, gross motor skills, and reading fluency to beginning learners. Using different manipulatives can be a great way to teach many skills academically as well as physically. I believe learning how to write narratives and read starts at the beginning of your educational career, and having different visual aids and manipulatives can be a great asset.
