This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These clothes give the students the ability to feel they are on the same playing field as their peers. Many do not have clothing that fits them, and many have never had something new. Building a clothes closet in our school for them to come to and "shop" when needed is a dream I have been building for the past year. We did the girls' closet, now I look to build the boys' closet! I am empowering our students in as many ways as I can to encourage their success and hopes together!
