Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, resilient, and kind my students are. They come to school each day eager to learn, even when they are navigating big emotions or personal challenges. What I admire most is their compassion for each other and their willingness to grow.
The resources I’m requesting—social-emotional books and materials—will help my students learn how to identify and express their feelings, resolve conflicts respectfully, and build empathy.
These tools will support classroom conversations, quiet reflection, and emotional regulation. Ultimately, they’ll help create a more caring, inclusive, and emotionally safe classroom environment where all children feel seen, supported, and empowered to be their best selves.
