Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their resilience, kindness, and the unique ways they see and experience the world. What makes them truly special is their ability to persevere through challenges while showing incredible empathy and creativity. They inspire me every day with their determination and heart. Providing my students with social-emotional books helps them better understand and express their feelings in a safe, supportive way. These books feature relatable characters and real-life situations that teach empathy, self-regulation, and communication skills.
Each resource will help them grow emotionally, build confidence, and develop the tools they need to succeed in both learning and life.
The goal of this project is to create an inclusive, emotionally supportive classroom where students with disabilities feel understood, valued, and empowered to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
