My Project

Hello, all! I'm asking for your help in providing wrestling equipment for our 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade athletes. 2024 is the second year of a brand-new wrestling program at EBMS, and we need, well, everything! This drive will provide headgear & pads so the students can safely participate as well as the equipment we need to host "dual meets" which are the team events where we compete with the rest of the league.

Wrestling encourages a healthy mindset and teaches young athletes the value of sportsmanship.

Wrestling's supportive environment encourages respect for fellow athletes. Even after an unsuccessful match, wrestlers are encouraged to stay humble, confident, and dedicated to self-improvement. Wrestling also provides a foundation of athleticism. As an individual sport, the only person responsible for success or failure is the individual themselves. Wrestling teaches self-awareness and how to be responsible for your actions; what you put in is what you get out.

Strong bodies help create strong minds, and with your help, the young athletes at Edna Brewer can achieve both. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
