My Project

I am a speech-language pathologist in a Title I school. I have the privilege of working with pre-k through 8th grade students. I work with pre-k students who are three and four years old with development delays. Planning lessons on early developing STEM skills such as counting, sorting, building with blocks, and learning basic concepts is crucial to their school readiness.

There is no better way to teach beginning STEM skills to little ones than to use hands-on materials like interactive books, games, blocks, and toys.

I also work with kindergarten through 8th grade students who have more significant disabilities. I love using these STEM materials with them in my speech therapy lesson plans. These educational tools give my learners an opportunity to explore and learn general curriculum skills that their peers are learning.
