During Enrichment time, my students participate in a variety of STEM activities that allows them to think divertingly, inventively, and imaginatively!
Using their unique thinking my students take PRIDE in building strong relationships. They encourage each other and learn to keep trying until they are successful! I love taking a moment to watch them in action - it is heart filling and they make me proud!
My Project
Our school's vision and mission is based on encouraging team building through creativity, communication, and problem solving.
We understand that our students all have unique gifts, different thinking capabilities, and learning styles.
This is why I decided to include STEM challenges during Enrichment time.
Using the variety of materials, such as magnet building tiles, plastic pattern blocks and play doh, in this project and their own thinking, students will work in groups to create, build, or fix structures. Providing a variety of materials will help differentiate for students who have not yet developed fine motor skills. Students will learn to build on their skills as they help build each other up!
