My Students

Our Elementary School is a small school with 70% of our students receiving Free and Reduced Lunch services. The small student body allows teachers and staff to get to know our families on a more personal level. Many share their aspirations for their children to become lifelong learners and experience success at school.

My Project

All of our students want to express themselves creatively. Most students know how to use an iPad and I want to build on their knowledge. An iPad Pro and Apple pen is another way for students to complete STEAM assignments. It is also a way for me to present information in a more exciting manner to assist students with focus and attention. This project will help develop students' technology and critical thinking skills using a creative lens. In this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
