Our school did not have a library for 5 years as a result of funding cuts. Can you imagine? The library is the heart of the school which spreads the excitement of reading and learning across the campus. I am only a half-time librarian and have committed countless more hours and personal money to create a library that is welcoming and exciting. This project is to fulfill the creation of hands-on and student-centered Library Centers. Student engagement and positive behavior increases when students have choice, movement and a variety of activities. Students will benefit from these resources because they provide hands-on activities in the structured setting of the library. Help me build a future-ready library for our students!
