Building, Creating, and Counting in Pre-K!

Help me give my students these wonderful hands-on learning materials of magnetic tiles, simple machines, and counting games!

My Students

Early childhood education should be a wondrous and exciting time of varied and rich learning experiences. During this worldwide pandemic, our learning will be remote, but still rich and engaging! My 25 talented and unique Pre-K students come from varied backgrounds and varied learning styles. They are very curious and excited to learn. Our school is in an urban setting, but this year a large portion of the time our learning will be held remotely and children will not have access to our classroom materials and shared peer learning.

Due to financial constraints, the school budget does not allow for the resources that I am requesting with this project.

All of my students are very special. Each child brings a unique strength to our classroom and helps their peers learn interactively. We need these resources to assist in their explorations. I am so proud to be a part of their introduction to public school.

My Project

Our classroom is always such a busy place of learning and engagement in so many different ways. My students learn how to reach out and make friends as they play in a way that is engaging to them. They can teach their friends and share their knowledge in ways that they feel empowered by.

My students are such curious and eager learners!

They each have very varied learning styles that best engage their curiosity and successful learning! The building materials appeal to all of my architect, engineer, and construction and design students in Pre-K! Counting and math skills will be developed with the fun games while learning number identification and quantity! Letter recognition is also learned in a fun hands-on way while developing fine motor skills using the keys and locks! These materials would be such a rich addition to our classroom!
