My Project

One of the biggest gateways to success is the ability to read both for education and pleasure. Through this project we are looking to begin the process of creating a library in our school which currently doesn’t have one. Our school’s goal can be described best as “Action equals Equity”. We strive to help our students overcome their difficulties and challenges placed on them so they can choose their own futures.

Our school wants to help our students succeed by expanding their exposure to different works of literature outside of the classroom.

We have chosen to include books that help encourage our students to grow as well as books that they can read for pleasure. Our list of books includes works of non-fiction that will help them understand what is needed to succeed and make a difference in the community around them, and works of fiction that will encourage them to read for pleasure as well as boost their creativity.
