This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students' mental health has been impacted since Covid. This project will help students gain skills to promote their mental health by learning stress-reducing techniques, reflection skills, and emotional management. They will examine different emotions and identify coping skills for each emotion.

Students will attend workshops at intermediate and high schools to learn skills about stress, emotions, and regulation.

They will be taught a variety of skills to learn about themselves, their triggers and how to cope with different emotions during Mental Health Awareness Month. This project aims at promoting healthy mental health.
