My Students
Xylophones are easy to play; fun; and educational. Help us to set our kids up for success.
This is a title one school, which is a government label for schools with a large population of students from low-income backgrounds.
Don't think that this discourages them, though. We have some of the brightest kids in the state here at our school. These students love learning and love music a are excited to come to school everyday.
My Project
These bell kits are small xylophones with a beautiful tone that have all the notes marked and can be easily played by students from kindergarten on up. We will study simple songs and melodies to help build the children's musical technique; reading skills; and fine motor skills. Students will be highly motivated by the melodies they master on their instruments.
Students who study music increase both their brain power and confidence.
This carries over to increase confidence in other subjects as well. Through music you can make a huge difference in these children's lives.
