This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how determined my students are, especially when they’re working to build confidence in math. They come ready to learn, celebrate small wins, and push through challenges.

White boards, markers, and erasers will let them practice and show their thinking in real time.

Calculators will support problem-solving, while organizing supplies and labels will keep our space student-friendly. A math games book will make learning fun and build fluency.

These resources will give my students the tools they need to see themselves as successful mathematicians and as capable students who can achieve difficult things.
