This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Thank you for taking the time to consider supporting my amazing students! I work with a resilient and diverse group of learners who are dedicated to their academic growth and success despite the challenges they face. Many of my students come from low-income households, but they show up each day ready to learn and support one another.
I am requesting mini dry erase boards, snacks, a dust and mop floor sweeper, motivational posters, privacy desk folders, and calendars.
Each of these items will make a meaningful difference in my classroom:
• Mini Dry Erase Boards: These will allow students to actively participate during lessons, practice problem-solving, and engage in collaborative group work.
• Snacks: Many of my students come to school hungry or lack access to consistent meals. Providing snacks will help them focus, stay energized, and be ready to learn.
• Dust and Mop Floor Sweeper: A clean environment is essential for learning.
• Motivational Posters: These will inspire students to stay positive, work hard, and believe in their abilities.
• Privacy Desk Folders: These folders will help create a fair testing environment and allow students to focus during independent work, fostering a sense of integrity and accountability.
• Calendars: These will help students stay organized and take ownership of their time, preparing them for both academic and personal success.
The goal of this project is to create a classroom environment that is clean, motivating, and well-equipped to meet my students’ academic and personal needs. By fostering an organized and encouraging space, I hope to empower my students to take pride in their work and feel supported as they grow into independent and successful individuals.
