This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are in need of some basic supplies to promote our school community. To encourage students to continue to be successful in school, we want them to have all the tools they need - including sanitary products and toothbrushes. Additionally, we want to encourage our students to be successful in all their subjects by taking advantage of after-school tutoring provided by their teachers daily. To encourage our students to do this, we have heard them ask for snacks - so we want to be able to provide some of their preferred snacks and drinks as part of our tutoring program!
