This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This portable whiteboard will help my small-group students be active participants in achieving their storytelling goals. They will use the whiteboard to use during the library center in order to retell parts of a book. They will be able to take cut-out pictures and place them in order on the whiteboard. This whiteboard will also help out during whole group discussion, creating KWL charts and allowing students to come up to participate. In 3K we are learning how to tell stories through storytelling, there are rich conversations in each center. We currently have a sensory center and we need sand!
My students enjoy learning through conversations with each other.
With these new materials, we can add more details to our conversations!
