I want to create an enviroment where community building is at the forefront!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My current advisory students are in 10th grade! They are the future class of 2027! I will get to follow them through graduation. My effort this year is to make sure that we build a community in advisory that is close knit and caring.
The items I am requesting will make a difference in my student's learning by allowing advisory to be a safe space where we learn how to be kind and caring, through play, praise, and participation.
My goals for this project are to encourage students to get to know eachother and build a sense of belonging by connecting with each other regularly, in fun ways.
