My Project
Celebrating over 65 languages spoken out our high school, we are uniting our students through a common language, Futsal. There are currently no Futsal programs in our community so Mrs. Miranda and I have taken it upon ourselves to create a Futsal program. This program costs no money to the students and is open to all.
Currently we have 100 students across genders and cultures that participate in our open gyms as well as tournament style play.
Our issue is that we have to rely on when the publicly funded sports like soccer; can give up their nets, balls, pennies and beyond. We would like to expand the program and be able to have our own equipment to in turn have more control of the difference we can make in the lives of these students.
