Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Some of the students in my school are getting the chance, for the first time, to learn how to play the game of lacrosse. Many of them have never even heard about lacrosse and now they are having so much fun each week on the field. They have wonderful coaches that are able to teach them all the basics and help them each week.

Because this is a relatively new sport to them and our school, we lack a lot of the equipment required for it.

With this project, you are allowing us to continue playing lacrosse for many years to come. These boys not only get to play a new sport, but they are building character and learning what it means to work as a team. Sports are more than just playing a game, it teaches them so many life skills. Thanks so much for donating to this project and helping our students continue to be able to play sports within our school.
