Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The need for my students to be able to understand and express their emotions is essential in helping them develop socially and emotionally.

These books will help them understand complex issues in a fun and memorable

I believe now more than ever, there is a great need for social-emotional skills to be taught in the lives of my students. The books teach lessons from about perseverance, cooperation, creatvitiy, honesty, emptathy, responsibility, respect, gratitude and courage. All of these concepts are taught in the Character Strong program which is a program being implemented in our school district. These books will help me to successfully implement the program for my third grade stuents.
