My Project
As an history teacher, I strive to create a structured and efficient learning environment that sets students up for success. One of the biggest challenges many students face is organization—losing assignments, misplacing notes, and struggling to keep track of their learning materials.
To address this issue, I am seeking funding to provide binders for each student, giving them a dedicated place to store assignments and notes.
These binders will not only improve organization but also foster responsibility, independence, and academic success.
Having an organized system will help students develop better study habits, as they will have all their materials in one place instead of scrambling to find lost worksheets or incomplete notes. This structure will lead to improved academic performance, more efficient classroom time, and fewer disruptions caused by missing materials. Additionally, teaching students how to maintain a binder instills lifelong organizational skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom, whether in higher education or their future careers.
Our rural school serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a single building, which presents unique challenges in ensuring all students have equal access to resources. Not all families can provide proper school supplies, and by funding this project, we can ensure that every student—regardless of their background—has the tools they need to stay organized and succeed.
