With your support, I was able to provide each student with a binder, dividers, paper, and Sharpies to create their own classroom binder. These binders have quickly become the central hub for students to store their assignments, notes, vocabulary, and important handouts. On the very first day of school, we used the materials to get organized, and it set such a positive tone for the year. Already, I've noticed a reduction in missing assignments and an increase in students taking responsibility for keeping track of their work.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments so far was watching students excitedly choose from the colorful binders and personalize them with dividers and labels. Many of them commented that they felt more prepared and \"official\" having all their materials in one place, and it was wonderful to see their pride in starting the year organized. Several students even mentioned that this was the first time they felt like they had a system to keep everything together, which was so rewarding to hear as a teacher.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are starting the year talking about topics such as Reconstruction, geographical features of the world, and different types of government. The binders are already proving invaluable. Students are using their binders to compile vocabulary terms, guided notes, and primary source documents that will support their learning. Thanks to you, my students are equipped with the tools to stay organized and engaged throughout these units of content and beyond. Your contribution has truly made a lasting impact, and I am so grateful for the difference you have made in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1748465195935,"projectUrl":"project/building-brighter-futures-one-binder-at/9212482/","projectTitle":"Building Brighter Futures, One Binder at a Time!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Huston","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9984106_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y231&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742996787820","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9984106"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_67951","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":186,"numTeachers":19,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":89,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"9.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":78.9,"schoolId":67951,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Caseville School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Caseville School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/caseville-public-school-district/caseville-school/67951"}
