Building Bright Minds: A Creative, Fun, and Engaging Classroom!
Help me give my students a wonderful learning experience with basic supplies as well as a little extra to make their days in their classroom as exciting as possible!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, I want to make learning fun and exciting for my students. That's why I'm asking for your help with my DonorsChoose project, "Building Bright Minds: A Creative, Fun, and Engaging Classroom!" With your support, I can get the supplies we need to make a big difference in my students' learning.
The items I'm requesting will help my students in many ways.
Bulletin board materials will make our classroom look colorful and interesting, making it easier for students to stay focused and engaged. My students have taken a particular liking to a "beautiful classroom" as they say. Dry erase markers will let us write and draw on the board, making learning more interactive and hands-on. Specifically, dry erase markers help during our small-group/centers time since they are used for almost every center. The students love feeling like they are the "teacher". Pencils and glue sticks are essential for all kinds of projects, from writing stories to making crafts. Books will open up new worlds for my students to explore and learn from. Also, several students in my classroom are extremely advanced in their reading and are upset at the fact that most of the Harry Potter books are never available at the library, so I promised them I would try my best to provide these books for them. Composition notebooks are ESSENTIAL in our classroom as they are used daily for each of their subject work.
What makes my students special is their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. They come from all different backgrounds, but they all share a passion for learning and a desire to do their best.
