This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Diverse, unique, cultural, talented, loving, kind. All of these are adjectives that describe the students you will find in my classroom. We are a Title I school with many different ethnicities and backgrounds, yet I want our main focus to be unity.

I want to teach my students to be the best version of themselves by setting the example myself.

Each child deserves the best education no matter their socioeconomic status, race, or religion. And that is what I strive to provide in my classroom.

My Project

Children are becoming more and more reliant on tablets and technology. These team building tools will not only improve their academic abilities but also their social interaction as they work together to solve problems.

Giving children the opportunity to build with their hands will open their minds to more possibilities.

Allowing children to explore the world through building activities will strengthen their problem-solving skills while making them more well rounded.

Using tools such as the magnetic blocks, Brain Flakes, or Playstix will give them a diverse set of materials to use. It is so important, as a teacher, that I not only teach them how to read and write but to also develop problem-solving skills that will help them to build their future!
