This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am deeply passionate about my students and cherish their unique qualities. Each resource I'm requesting plays a crucial role in their learning journey. The games designed to teach empathy, kindness, respect, and emotional awareness will encourage collaborative learning, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Engaging cards will enhance social-emotional learning through group conversations, nurturing not only interpersonal skills but also supporting the development of their writing abilities.
The calming cuddle ball is an essential tool to provide comfort and security, particularly benefiting students dealing with anxiety or seeking a sense of reassurance.
Additionally, the feelings and emotions dough mats offer a creative outlet for younger students to express themselves when words may fail, promoting artistic skills and emotional communication. The metallic tangle fidgets serve as effective tools for calming down and refocusing attention.
My overarching goal for this project is to create a supportive environment where every student feels valued and equipped with the emotional intelligence needed for success in both academics and life. What makes my students truly special is their diversity, resilience, and individual strengths. This project aims to celebrate these qualities and provide tailored resources that contribute to their holistic development.
