This project will fund a variety of STEM manipulatives that encourage exploration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. The items include building blocks, shape sorters, counting and measurement tools, and engineering kits. These materials will allow students to explore important STEM concepts, such as basic geometry, measurement, and the fundamentals of engineering, through tactile play. By using hands-on tools like magnetic tiles, pattern blocks, and stacking toys, my students will develop early math skills, fine motor abilities, and a love for problem-solving.
Additionally, many of the manipulatives are designed to support cooperative play, which will help foster social skills as students work together to complete projects and solve challenges.
These STEM materials are not only accessible but designed to be fun, encouraging exploration and learning through hands-on activities.
