My Project

Every morning, my classroom begins with students choosing a hands-on activity while they settle in for the day. Instead of waiting quietly, they build, create, problem-solve, and collaborate with classmates. These STEM materials help students develop perseverance, communication, and critical thinking before our academic day even begins.

Throughout the day, these same resources become part of our math, science, and collaborative learning.

Students use measurement tools to explore real-world concepts, geometric solids to strengthen spatial reasoning, magnetic money for financial literacy, and open-ended building materials to complete engineering and design challenges.

Finally, our calming sensory resources help students regulate emotions and refocus when they need a quiet moment, creating a classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.

Your generosity will help create a classroom that encourages curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and confidence from the first bell to the last.
