This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
All the items will make a difference in my students because they will provide steam activities, art, clean classroom, supplies my students can use to be successful in the classroom. We use whiteboard markers on our whiteboards to show. We are learning during math. We always need a fun pencil sharpener in my classroom. The crayons and colored pencils will help my students be prepared to learn and do their work. we will greatly appreciate any items that we get and so grateful.
My goals for this classroom is for all of my students to have all materials accessible to them to better help them meet their goals.
We will use all of our materials to be successful throughout the school year. This project will be a blessing in our classroom. My students will be very thankful and excited that they will have new supplies.
My school is located in a suburban area with children coming from low income families. The poverty in the city grows each year. I will have 33 eager fourth grade students who are ready to learn new things! The majority of my students come from low income families. Despite that, they always have a smile on their face and they try their best. I have many struggling students who lack home support. I have about half of my students who are reading and writing below grade level. Throughout the school year, I always run out of supplies and then I have to go buy more and it can get very expensive, We never ask our parents to help since our students are from low income families.
