My Project
First Graders are just beginning their journey into reading books! Not only are they learning how to read, but they are also learning how to take lessons away from books and go on adventures with their characters. Each unit of study for reading is thematic and helps children build background knowledge about different subjects. These books will help students practice their reading comprehension skills while also teaching them about the importance of friendship and working together!
Our first graders love learning about how to be a good friend through books like the Elephant and Piggy series and Pete the Cat!
They love stories about fun characters who they can learn alongside, while having fun.
