Building Blocks

My Students

I teach 16 kindergarten-age students who love school! The kids that enter my classroom each day are spunky, creative, and eager to learn! My classroom houses students with a wide range of academic and social abilities, including students with special needs. Most of my students come from low to middle-income homes. I strive to give them the loving and supportive environment that they deserve while they are in my care so they can have the best chance of succeeding both academically and socially. They are amazing and make me strive to be the best educator that I can be.

My classroom is full of students from a variety of backgrounds, but when we come together we are a family who grows and learns together.

My Project

This project was created because today I asked my students, " If I could get anything for the classroom what should I get?" In unison, most of the responded, "Magnetic Blocks!" They absolutely LOVE them!!! I also added a set of the Alphabet Robot Blocks. They have been on my wish list for a long time and I really think my students will like them.

Play is the building blocks of life!

The block area is one of the most popular areas to play at in the classroom. I love investing in this area and giving them a variety of options. These magnetic blocks and alphabet robots with be great additions. I can't wait to surprise them!!
