My Project

My PreK students are busy learning through play and need more materials for building. These building materials such as Tegu blocks, Kapla blocks, stones, peg dolls, legos, lego boards, ten frame pegs, and trains will spark students creativity. The baskets will store the materials nicely, and the coatrack will hold fabric and dramatic play items to increase engagement.These STEAM materials will enrich students science, technology, art, and math skills. They will also practice social emotional learning and language skills by taking turns and creating rich dramatic play scenarios.

A variety of building materials will and provide rich opportunities for cooperation and critical thinking.

My students will plan and create together, and practice academic and social emotional skills through play.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
