My students need an iPad to reference things during small group instruction. There are many instances where I would like to show my students a picture, or video to build background knowledge during small group.

My Students
Every classroom is different, but in my eyes, I have the best! I love that we are all different and can bring so much diversity to the table. It keeps our discussions rich, like a big pot of gumbo!
I teach twenty-two students in each one of my two classes with a wide rage of different cultural backgrounds.
As different as we all may be, when put together in one class to learn, we become one loving family. My kids deserve the absolute best from me, and that is what I am trying to provide.
My Project
Small group, in my classroom, allows for me to hit holes in my students' academic standpoint. Being able to build background before reading stories or allowing students to look up things they are unfamiliar of will push my students to excel.
This iPad will allow those gaps to fill with new knowledge found with the assistance of the tablet.
If students are more familiar with that they are expected to read and understand, the comprehension of stories and passages will flourish. I believe an iPad can help students better understand material that is being presented to them during small group time spent with me.
