Building At Home

My Students

My students are excited four and five-year-old children from a diverse area in a high needs school. They bring a joy of learning and a welcoming community. Our school works hard to make sure all kids feel welcome and encouraged.

My students work hard to grow their brains.

They need a comfortable place to rest during the day since we are at school all day. Children's brains grow while they are sleeping and resting so having a comfortable save place to rest will help them be more focused during the rest of the day.

My Project

These Geostix will be used to build shapes and many other things during our building study. Our students are learning at home for much of this year due to Covid19. They need hands on materials to build their brains and explore building concepts. These building toys are popular with Pre-K students and would help our students be engaged while learning from home.

Our students will expand their spatial awareness and creativity with these toys.

These Geostix and a truck for each student will help us develop lessons that are more exciting for our students while working on academic skills such as geometry, measurement, and fine motor.
