This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my district get to take art in 8th grade. Some students feel unsuccessful when they cannot draw and often want to know how to draw a particular object. My goal is to build a library of classroom how to draw books for the art room. Students will be able to refer to the library during projects, when they finish early to build skills or to check out books from the art room and take them home to build skills. This option will allow students to take charge of their own learning and advance in their drawing skills. I want each student to love art and loving art means feeling successful.
