My students need STEM kits to explore and interact with the story.

My school is located in a transient military town where students from various backgrounds come together to showcase their love for 21st-century exploration and learning. Most of our 511 students that attend our school are African-American, but we also have students who are Asian, Hispanic, Caucasian, and Multiracial. We are also a Title I school with approximately 56% of students coming from low-income families.
Curious minds are full of questions, wonder, and excitement.
My students love any activity that gets them up and moving!
Our school is full of caring and talented teachers and staff members who strive to meet the needs of all of our students to ensure that they receive the best education to set them on the pathway for a successful life.
My students enjoy being given challenges when it comes to learning material in the curriculum. They like hands-on projects that require them to use their creativity as well as their problem-solving and cooperation skills.
Little explorers enjoy challenging tasks.
These STEM kits will help augment our literacy program as well as challenge our students and enhance their higher level thinking skills. The Fairy Tale STEAM Kit will allow students to build critical language and literacy skills by relating a well-known story to an engineering concept as they attempt to solve problems based on the story content. The Johnny Appleseed STEM kit will allow the students to further explore the legend of the great pioneer by using their problem-solving skills.
