My Project
My students love music, and they especially love the days in music class where we get to play instruments! While we already have some xylophones in the classroom, we do not have enough for every student in the classroom. With these two instruments, I will be closer to my goal of having a class set of barred instruments.
Every child is a musician, and every child deserves a chance to play.
These xylophones will be used by students from preschool to 5th grade, to play everything from simple 2-note chords to improvisations over a 12-bar blues. The instruments are not only used in class but are also used at our concert performances throughout the year. In addition, these instruments are made to last and will serve students for many years to come.
