Building an Inclusive Classroom

My Project

In an elementary behavioral classroom within special education, sensory tools play a crucial role in creating a conducive learning environment. These tools, ranging from fidget spinners to kinetic sand and bubbles, help students regulate their emotions and focus on tasks. Additionally, behavioral books serve as valuable resources for teaching social skills, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution. Classroom supplies such as adaptive scissors, timers, and different writing tools aid in promoting positive behavior management strategies. Together, these tools and resources support the diverse needs of students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
